Backlink Checker
Check the backlink profile of any domain or URL in one report. Enter a site and you get its total backlinks and referring domains, its Authority Score, the follow and nofollow split, top anchors, link types, the strongest referring domains and the pages links point at. It works on any site, not just your own — and every check is saved to your account to reopen later.
One report, the whole profile
Paste a domain or a page URL and the checker builds the full picture. The Overview leads with the headline numbers — total backlinks, referring domains, the Authority Score and the toxicity mix — then breaks the profile down by anchor, link type and link attribute. You don't stitch together five exports; it's one view of how a site earns its links.
Authority Score and the follow/nofollow split
Every domain carries an Authority Score from 0–100, so you can read its link strength at a glance and compare it against the sites linking to it. The overview also splits the profile by attribute — follow, nofollow, sponsored and UGC — so you can see how much of the profile actually passes authority, not just the raw count.
Anchors, link types and top referring domains
The report surfaces the top anchors with the domains and backlinks behind each, the anchor-type mix (branded, naked, compound and the rest), and a link-type breakdown across text, image and redirect links. The Top referring domains table ranks the sites linking in by Authority Score and toxicity, and Top target pages shows which of the site's pages attract the most links.
Drill into every link
The full backlink list shows each link's source and target, its anchor and type, the linking domain's authority, and when it was found — with filters for status, attribute, link type and authority range. Open any referring domain and you get every individual link from it, with first and last seen dates. A Lost & Found view separates new, lost and broken links so movement is easy to spot.
Check any site, and keep every check
Because it runs on any domain you enter, the Backlink Checker is as useful for sizing up a competitor or vetting a guest-post prospect as it is for your own site. Each run lands under Your saved checks and stays there — reopening a check is free and doesn't use a daily run, so a research session you did last month is one click away. For ongoing monitoring and a disavow workflow on your own domain, use the project Backlink Audit.

Frequently asked questions
What does the Backlink Checker show?
Enter any domain or URL and you get its backlink profile: total backlinks and referring domains, an Authority Score, the follow and nofollow split, top anchors and anchor types, link types, the top referring domains, the target pages links point at, and a toxicity breakdown. You can open any referring domain to see every individual link from it.
Can I check any website's backlinks?
Yes. The Backlink Checker runs on any domain or URL you enter, not just your own, so it works for competitor research, prospecting and due diligence as well as checking your own profile.
What is the Authority Score?
A 0–100 strength score for a domain's backlink profile. The checker shows the score for the domain you entered and for every referring domain, so you can tell a link from a strong site apart from a throwaway one at a glance.
Can I see the follow and nofollow split?
Yes. The overview breaks the profile down by link attribute — follow, nofollow, sponsored and UGC — and every individual backlink is tagged, so you can filter the full list to just the follow links that pass authority.
Is the check a domain or a single page?
Both. Enter a root domain to profile the whole site, or paste a full page URL to see the backlinks pointing at that one page. Each saved check records which scope it used.
Are my checks saved?
Yes. Every check is saved to your account under Your saved checks and stays revisitable — reopening one is free and doesn't use a daily check. The result is a snapshot from the date it was run.
Is the Backlink Checker free?
It's a paid feature with a daily check limit that depends on your plan. Reopening a check you've already run is always free. If you need a higher limit, you can upgrade your plan.
